  Mary Modrovsky has been a full-time, professional REALTOR® since 1989 specializing in the sales and marketing of homes in Ocala as well as all of Marion County including Belleview and Silver Springs Shores. She is the president of Fred Tyrrell Realty, Inc and has experience not only in existing property but in new construction as well.

  Mary believes that one of the keys to success, both for herself and her clients, is a continually updated education. She takes many classes and seminars to increase her effectiveness and has earned one of the real estate industry's most prestigious professional designations: GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute)and is a CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) candidate. In addition, Mary is the chapter founder of the Women's Council of REALTORS local chapter and has served as its president. Also earned the WCR's leadership designation LTG and PMN. She is a Director of the Ocala/Marion County Association of Realtors as well as its 2001 MLS President and 2005 Association President. As a member of the Florida Association of Realtors Honor Society and A FAR Director, she is in contact with Realtors from all of Florida.

  Mary is a member of the Ocala/Marion County Association of REALTORS® where she has helped shape the future of real estate in the area by serving as Chairperson of the Education Committee as well as chairperson of the Grievance Committee. In addition to her local involvement, Mary is active with the Florida Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®. Personal Information
  Mary moved from New York to Florida in 1988 and has been a resident of the area ever since. While living in New York she was employed by a custom home builder for 10 years. During this period, Mary gained valuable "ground up" knowledge of homes which is vital to the success of her real estate clients today.

Mary is the mother of three grown children. She was very active in youth activities during her children's formative years serving as a Cub Scout leader, softball coach, PTA officer and camp programs for children with cancer. In addition, Mary has served as the Welcome Wagon Club President, a Red Cross Blood Bank Volunteer and in many other civic and church committees including The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks of the USA Lodge No.286. As a result of her community involvement, Mary has acute awareness of the needs and wants of families in the area. She knows the schools, the neighborhoods, the services and the benefits available and is a valuable information resource both for those new to the area as well as to those who are simply changing neighborhoods.

When not serving her clients or her neighbors, Mary spends time with her family. She also enjoys gardening and flower arranging, walking, reading and surfing the net.
